thankful.

I know, I know everyone does the whole "thankful for" thing and even though giving thanks should be a year round thing, this one dedicated day really helps you sit down and think or maybe even write down what you are thankful for this year.

For me there are many things I am thankful for and I try to tell those who I am grateful for as often as possible with cards, notes, posts, whatever means necessary. So if I haven't thanked you yet today, THANK YOU for all that you do.

One thing I will always be thankful for that will never go away is my family. There's no other place I'd rather be on a weekend or any day for that matter than home with my husband, parents, brothers, and sydnee. They are the ones who are there through everything - through good and bad, they have my back always. I am so eternally grateful for that and words cannot describe how lucky I am to have such a supporting and loving group of people right by my side in life.

My mom is my best friend. I can tell her anything and she'll be right there listen. She is the most caring and giving person I know and I hope one day I can be as big-hearted as her.


My dad is my rock, the one that holds me steady in life. He always tells me the truth when I need it and is constantly reminding me to just be me, not what anyone else wants me to be.


My brothers are amazing. They are there when I need it and always make me laugh. Even though we each have our own lives when we are together our time is always special.


My husband is my love and support always. There's not a single thing I've done in my life that he hasn't backed me 100% on and I love him for that.


And of course there's Sydnee - my light, my joy, my everything. <3

To everyone else - family & friends a big THANK YOU for many things this year: our wedding, my new photography endeavor and everything else that you done for me and my family. I am truly blessed.
