Collin & Sophia.

This weekend I had an opportunity to photograph not only a cute little boy, but an adorable BABY! My friend Krissy from way back contacted me about doing some pictures of her cousin's kids Collin & Sophia. The best part was as avid users of Pinterest, they had dozens of ideas for different shots. So it was really fun spending the week going over ideas and planning this shot.

I learned so much from this shot as it was a lot of firsts for me: photographing a baby, shooting mostly indoors, and working with at least 5 outfit changes for each of them. Things went by so quickly that before you knew it, it was on to the next outfit. We did venture outside later in the day when it warmed up to get some great action shots of Collin being the wild boy that he is.

I am very grateful for friends who are willing to volunteer their children (or cousin's children ;) ) to help me learn and grow as a photographer. Everybody was so patient (including little Sophia) and the best part was we had TONS of fun.
