a great start.

Well it's been 2 weeks since my new job started and I have really enjoyed every day so far. The people are great - friendly and health conscious (tons of people pack their own lunch and walk the parking lot on their breaks) and very helpful if you have questions or need help.

It's been SO wonderful having weekends (for those of you who don't know that's 2 days in a row, every week, that you get OFF! - a little sarcasm coming from a retail job) and paid holidays (aka I'm off tomorrow for the holiday!) And having consistant hours is amazing. Being done at 3PM everyday is wonderful. I've got so much time and so much daylight to do what I want. I'm still adjusting to the sleep schedule but I really don't mind getting up so early because I know I'll be done super early.

Other than that I LOVE designing something everyday. We primarily work in Photoshop and (Apple friends cover your ears) we work on PCs - which isn't bad at all! They run really well and I have a nice large monitor. So far in 2 weeks I've designed 4 sites and it is kind of a challenge making something unique  for the similar subjects but that's the fun part of it and I can't wait to continue to learn and grow as a designer!
