Today my mom, aunt Karla, and cousin/bridesmaid Kayla headed out on another dress hunting adventure. So far we've gone to about 3 different places, and tried on about 45 dress total (yikes!). Each place we picked out our top 1 or 2 and figured we'd decide which ones were best at the end. We shopped at David's bridal, Savvy Bridal, and Sandra D's in Watertown. Each had a unique selection of dresses and styles. Some places let you pick out your own, others picked out some for you to try on. So after these couple places we had sort of an idea as to what type of styles and fabrics looked good on me, etc. But I always kept my options open because you never really know how a dress will look until you try it on. Sometimes a dress you would never think of is the one that looks the best.

So by today, I had narrowed down what style, color, and fabric I was looking for. Which was: a vintage but modern, simple a-line, with rousching and lace,  in ivory or off white dress. And I ended up finding exactly that. The lace brings in the vintage look, the top brings in the modern part, and there's is a star right below my heart for grandma. Not to mention it's pretty flattering to my figure. Now I've never been a dress girl - so I never thought I'd actually fall completely in love with a dress. I just figured I'd buy the one that looks best on me but I have to say: I LOVE THIS DRESS!!! So much so that we bought it today! I can't wait for everyone to see it.  :) :) Here's a sneak peak ;)
