So if you couldn't tell by all of the pictures posted recently, Sydnee turned 5 last weekend. And this little princess indulged in a 3-part birthday (see part 1 & 2 in earlier post). Sunday (the day after her birthday) we got to celebrate with her sister and our families. It was a really great time.
Chris and I started the day by searching for a castle to put on Sydnee's cake. We looked all over, but had no luck. SO Tita (me) decided to get creative and build a castle out of pink and purple legos that I used to play with when I was little. Then we found a little Ariel cake to put on top and I decided to bake a cake for everyone to eat.
After the baking was done, Chris went to pick up Sydnee and her sister Cierra. We headed out to Chris's parents house for some really good food, my parents came out to celebrate too. Then we opened gifts, Sydnee and her sister got so many presents! Afterwards we had cake (Sydnee decided to take a big scoop of the frosting when I showed her the cake). All in all it was a great day spending time with family and celebrating the birthday of our beautiful little Sydnee.
