Last weekend was Sydnee's 5th Birthday. Wow! Where have the past 5 years gone? A lot has changed but many things remain the same. Sydnee still has amazing people that love her, and she continues to amaze us everyday. This year was a big year for her, she started pre-school! She really enjoys it too, everyday is something new! She's getting so smart! I can't imagine our life without her, she is a blessing in every way.

Anyways, Sydnee got a 3-part birthday last weekend. She spent Friday with Chris and I at my parent's house. She got all dressed up in her all pink outfit (she has declared her favorite color to be pink and purple) and wore her "silly hat" as she called it that she made with Aunt Kari the night before. We went out for pizza for lunch so the "birthday fairy" could come while we were gone. The "birthday fairy" brought cupcakes, presents, and balloons. She was so excited. She opened all of the presents in a matter of minutes, had cupcakes, and then spent the rest of the afternoon playing with her new toys.

Saturday (her actual birthday) she spent the day with her mom and sister, who's birthday was Sunday. (They were born one day apart with a 3 year age difference) They had a big party at her Grandma's house and she told us they had "cookie cake." Here's some pictures from our time with her Friday.

Crafts is her new favorite thing, we make new projects all the time.

Showing off how old she is.

Close-up!

Birthday kisses!
