Liz: 13 weeks {Maternity}

When Liz contacted me to set up a "progression" maternity shoot I was so excited. Not only would this be my first maternity session, but a very exciting first "progression" session. (ie. watching a baby grow right in front of your eyes!) I was so excited I must have written down 100 ideas - the best part is, although we didn't get through them all in one session, we've got two more together as we watch baby #2 grow inside of this beautiful mommy's belly.

I could not have asked for a better way to start out the new year with this first session. It was so much fun experimenting with different positions, props, and backdrops. Having a photography background herself Liz was more than willing to experiment and come up with some different ideas too. Lots of belly shots here but that's the point.. right? ;) It was also pretty awesome catching up with Liz (we used to skate together) and her excitement for a new joy in their lives made me just as excited for them I think :)

I cannot wait to get together again and capture this beautiful part of life. Thanks Liz!!!
