We chose Lake Windsor - a gorgeous spacious country club in Madison. The ceremony will be outdoors in front of the little lake under a beautiful gazebo. (exactly what I was looking for in the outdoor part of things). It's got a back-up (aka peace of mind) ceremony space indoors too. The reception is the space in the pictures - giant floor to ceiling windows, beautiful chandeliers, and a wonderful clean, natural look.
We love it. Everything about it fits who we are as a couple, has the look and feel we was going for, and has enough space to fit all the people we love and want to share our day with (not to mention in our budget). I'm so excited I keep picturing the big day in this wonderful space. Now we can move on to all the fun little details!
And for all you non-believers out there - it IS possible to find a place you love 6 months before your wedding! Here's proof:
