Earlier this month I got the opportunity to tag along with Chris to help shot a Mad Polecats concert at the High Noon Saloon in Madison. Chris and his friend Tim usually man the video cameras so I got a chance to practice my photography skills and take some shots of the band in action. It was a challenge with the low lighting and constant movement of the band but it gave me a good chance to practice under less than perfect conditions.

http://www.myspace.com/madpolecats The band is a mix of punk, reggae, rockabilly, and blue grass complete with a huge bass and washboard. They put on a really great show and are super talented! Here's some of my favorite shots from the night:
