2010 was the best year ever. Chris and I got engaged, Sydnee turned 5 and started going to school, I graduated college, and I've gotten closer to my family, brothers, and in-laws then I ever have been. I guess to sum it up, this past year I've really discovered what I want out of life: to marry my best friend, always put my family first (including syds), and be willing and open minded to try new things. I feel like I've accomplished a lot this year, and am very excited to start another year being this happy in life.

I've never really been into making new year's resolutions, but I do like to set a few goals to achieve for the new year in order to continue to be happy and make others happy.

Here's what they look like:

1) Be a little more stress-free.
I tend to over think and stress about things, so this year I'm going to work on letting things go, relaxing, and not taking things too personally.

2) Plan a wedding and get married.
Pretty straight forward.

3) Get healthy.
I know this one is always on people's list so I have to inform you that Chris and I actually have a challenge to both loose 20 lbs before our wedding. I'm pretty comfortable with my body (took me a long time to get there) but I know I could be a lot healthier. I've already taken action by joining a gym last year but I need to be more responsible for what I eat, and get on a regular gym schedule so I can start getting healthier and reach my goal!

4) Put my creativity to work.
I've always wanted to make and sell my own crafts and products and I got some really great books for Christmas on how to start your own small crafting business so this year I'd like to start planning and creating. Also advancing my photography skills and put myself out there to get more experience. Oh yes, and find a job in the design related field!

5) Continue to be happy.
I really do love my life and am really happy with the way things are going. I'm really excited to get married and some day have kids. I've got an amazing and supportive family, some really great friends & co-workers, a wonderful fiance, and a Sydnee. Could I really ask for anything more?
