Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing K.J. and Nia. These little ones were TONS of fun. And amazingly enough they thought a small little studio space with nothing but a few props and Christmas decorations was the coolest thing ever. Mom warned me as we were going up the elevator that we have to pretend like we aren't taking pictures because her youngest Nia usually gets really shy and sometimes cries in front of the camera. But boy was it complete opposite once we got started! The oldest one K.J. decided he really didn't want his picture taken (I managed to get a few good shots when he thought I wasn't looking) and miss Nia was bouncing around posing and smiling for the camera. She was such a sweetie I could hardly believe it was the same girl Mom was warning me about in the elevator. Nia even wanted to stay so bad she cried when they left. So we will definitely be seeing each other again in the spring at their favorite park!
We took a lot of pictures - Nia showed me her toys, K.J. showed me his best Iron Man impression and magic tricks with a ball he found buried in the tree, and they even got to do some fun holiday stuff like decorate the tree and my favorite - look for Santa out the window. All we saw was squirrels though.. maybe Santa sent squirrels instead of elves this year?
In the spirit of the holidays I thought I'd share a few of my favorite holiday pictures we got.
Thank you Jackie, Kevin, K.J., & Nia!!

Thanks K.J. & Nia!
