The past two weekends have been jam packed with a little bit of everything. Friends, birthday parties, wedding stuff, family time, work, running a 10k race.. just to name a few! But it's been wonderful!

Last weekend I got to spend a lot of dedicated time working on ideas for centerpieces, name cards, and favors which felt great because we got A LOT accomplished.

I know the type of look I'm going for but haven't decided on real vs. fake flowers. I know that I'll do something like paper, tissue paper, or fabric if I decide against real flowers but I'm not quite ready to make that decision.

Chris's dad had an AMAZING collection of glass jars both clear and blue tinted some with latches and lids, others with some cool textures and decorations. So we experimented with some flowers from the garden and some silk flowers I had picked up at Michael's a while back. These won't be the exact flowers or colors I'm going to use, but similar.

I also experiemented with making my own plantable paper. For what we are using it for is a surprise ;) But it will tie in well with the overall feel over the wedding and make for some cool, earth friendly favors at the end. I'll post a little tutorial on that later but for now enjoy some photos of our experimentations!
