Just wanted to give an extra special Father's day wish to the most important man in my life: my DAD! It's amazing how much I've learned from him in the past 23 years: independence, confidence, determination, kindness, respect, not being afraid to speak your mind, and not to take crap from anyone, to name a few.

I've always been a daddy's girl, being the only daughter I admit I may have been spoiled a bit by dear old dad, but he has always kept me in check and inline which is something I am forever grateful for. He's always been an inspiration to me in many ways - from his entrepreneurship in owning his own business for over a decade, to his artistic skills, his taste in music, to his ability to give up all of his time and energy for his children, he is a constant reminder to me that all things are possible if you work hard and put your heart into it.

Last month my dad graduated from college and I felt the way I imagine he felt the day I graduated high school and college: proud, happy, and relieved. He's put up with a lot the past couple years - working multiple jobs, continuing to raise his children, be a loving husband, and being involved in the community, all while doing homework late at night and on weekends, attending classes throughout the week, and putting up with pesky teachers and know-it-all group members. I am very proud of my dad and what he has accomplished and will continue to accomplish throughout his life.

I can't imagine my life without him and I am so very blessed and very thankful to call him my DAD.

yep. you're seeing that right, we are all dressed up in Star Trek outfits for a family photo. I'm more proud than embarrassed of this pic now. (I lost both my front teeth right before this picture was taken so I refused to smile.)

I am lucky to actually have the "Cool" dad. He's always had fast cars (he's had a firebird for a long as i can remember), lots of computers, games, and other toys, and his latest addition - his motorcycle.
high school graduation 2006 - he just found out i got a tattoo and still smiled the whole day! :)
