Saturday's wedding was as my husband would say "magical" and I mean that with all my heart. The weather, the locations, the family, the friends. Everything was set to have an amazing day celebrating the marriage of these two lovely people.

Kristin had mentioned while chatting together that the reception was "in a barn" and they were getting ready at her mother-in-law's "unique" house. Was I in for a surprise when we pulled up and saw the most beautiful round barn I have ever seen. From top to bottom Kristin's decorating sense and overall style really brought everything together to complete the look for the day. We went to a few locations around Galesville, one being J.J.'s mom's house this beautiful little cottage style house tucked on a hill amongst some trees. Then to swinging bridge park where the groomsmen tried very hard to make someone loose their balance (no such luck, even in heels.)

The ceremony was short and sweet, the reception an amazing display of what family is all about. I remember all the boys getting up at one point in the middle of their meal, no complaints, just up to help and watched in amazement how hard everyone worked to make sure Kristin & J.J. had their perfect day.

It's funny because for most people, a wedding is something you will do once in your life and I think everyone kind of expects you to know exactly what to do and when to do it. You would think that this would make most people look like amateurs when it comes to simple things like cake cutting, first dances, or even signing the marriage certificate. But these two were flawless throughout the day, constantly making sure that the other was happy. Constantly reminding each other of the love they feel for each other. And that is what made this wedding day perfect.

Thank you so much to Kristin, J.J. and all of their family & friends for letting us be a part of your special day! Here's a sneak peek from the day!
