We got to experiment with a styled shoot where the models showed off some new apparel and accessories from Maggie Bogart Clothes and Peppercorn Kids. The models were all SO gorgeous. Their eyes and expressions really did the talking and they were troopers dealing with a dozen or so photographers all trying to get them to look this way, or pose that way. They really did an amazing job.
This workshop really inspired me to do what I love, this is my craft and the one thing in life that I have complete control over so deep down I need to do what makes me happy and follow my goals and inspiration with photography and all other aspects of my life. I do also want to break into more "styled" type shoots - i.e. not just showing up with my camera and snapping pictures but really taking the time to plan and get to know my clients, their tastes and what really gives them joy in life and how I can capture that.
Stay tuned for some fun "styled" sessions I have planned for the end of this month as well as a review of my experience at my first official photography workshop coming soon. Until then I'll leave you with some of my favorites from the day.
Thank you again Shannon and all my fellow attendees!!!
